Sevrak Custom Development
Custom applications, integrations, automation and defensible AI for Relativity® aiR, built by senior engineers who spent their careers inside eDiscovery. Send us the problem.
Description
Sevrak is a software engineering firm and technical consultancy for eDiscovery. We build custom applications, integrations, automation and defensible AI on Relativity® aiR (formerly RelativityOne). Senior engineers carry every engagement end to end: the people who scope the work are the people who lead the build.
What we build on Relativity aiR
- Custom applications: objects, layouts, event handlers, agents, custom pages, Kepler services and embedded UI, tested and packaged as Relativity applications
- Integrations and connectors: one-way and bidirectional, on the documented APIs, with a log of every record moved
- Ingestion pipelines: metadata, text and natives loaded at volume, with every load reconciled against its source
- Admin and QC automation: workspace setup from your templates, permission reports, and QC that flags only the exceptions
- Reporting and dashboards: processing, import and review progress in one view, scoped to each client
- Productions and conversions: productions built to the receiving party's specification, and chat converted to the Relativity Short Message Format (RSMF)
- Defensible AI: fact extraction cited to source text, classification with a person at every checkpoint, and machine learning over image, video and audio
- Migration and modernization: tooling that moves workspaces without stopping review, and older customizations rebuilt on the supported surface
- Reviews before a build: architecture, security and build-versus-buy, with the recommendation in writing
Why teams bring us in
- Operator roots: our founders each spent over 13 years inside eDiscovery, running the infrastructure and working inside service providers and litigation-support shops
- Defensible by design: audit trails, validation and the documents that clear a security review are part of the build. Our AI engineering is governed to the NIST AI Risk Management Framework and ISO/IEC 42001, and we never use client data to train AI or ML models
- Fixed fees: scope is agreed in writing before the build starts. When it isn't clear yet, we recommend a short fixed cost discovery project first to define it well enough to do so
- You own the result: source code, runbooks and architecture documentation come with every handoff

Services
Custom Relativity® applications
Applications that extend Relativity® aiR's capabilities for your needs.
We build on the platform's supported extensibility surface and package the result for your instance:
- Custom objects, fields, layouts, views and tabs that model your workflow
- Interfaces and embedded UI to extend Relativity aiR seamlessly
- Event handlers, agents, custom pages and Kepler services
- Secure, covered by automated tests, and packaged as Relativity applications
Every build ships with its source code, documentation, and the architecture and security brief your security team will ask for.
Integrations and connectors
Connect Relativity® aiR to the systems around it.
One-way and bidirectional integrations between your workspaces and the business systems, collection sources, storage and reporting tools your team already runs, built on the platform's documented APIs:
- Field and object mapping agreed in writing before any code
- Built to fail safely, with retries, clear error handling and a log of every record moved
- Permissions scoped to what the integration needs, and nothing more
- Monitoring your team can read, so a stalled sync gets noticed
Modernizing existing customizations
Bring older scripts, applications and database-level tools onto the supported surface.
Customizations written for an on-premises install often depend on direct database access, retired APIs or server-side components that a cloud platform doesn't offer. We find them before they break a move to Relativity® aiR, and rebuild what's worth keeping.
- An inventory of every customization, triaged into keep, rebuild, retire, or replace with something that already exists
- Rebuilds on current APIs and extensibility points, with automated tests
- One-off scripts turned into maintained, versioned, documented tools
